Peter Coyote: Reflections on an Esteemed Career
Part of the Tomales Regional History Center 2025 Lecture Series, join us for this event.
Join Suzanne Lang of NPR in conversation with one of the most recognizable personalities in American culture, Peter Coyote. Since 1967, Peter has worked in over 100 films, provided Emmy-award winning narration in 160 projects including many Ken Burns historical documentaries, written five books, in addition to being an influential activist and Zen Buddhist. Guaranteed to be a fascinating afternoon.
Mending Night... and a Movie
Bring your mending and stitching and learn tips from your neighbors! We’ll mend from 5-7, then at 7 we’ll watch the film A Mighty Wind, a comedy by the director of “Spinal Tap,” about a village celebrating their sesquicentennial (150th anniversary) like we are with our Hall! Food will be available from the Food Truck.

Family Game Night. Bring your friends and family, bring your own game that you want to share. BYOB (we’ll have Carlos’s food truck standing by with nosh).
The Barn Dance
Join us for our annual tradition, this year featuring caller Celia Ramsay and live music with Rodney Miller (fiddle) and Rebecca King (piano). No host bar and, of course, chili and cornbread.

An Evening of Mirth and Music
Trifecta! Start the night with comedy from Brian Maggi and his special guest. Followed by live music from the Towne Dandies Surf Fever! with their mix of lively cowboy and Americana tunes, showcasing their fresh take on classic sounds. The night concludes with vibrant beats spun by DJ E. Live.
The doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7:00 PM

An Evening with Mike Beck -- Cowboy Singer Songwriter
Mike Beck is an engaging acoustic solo artist who is a regular featured performer at the National Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering. He performs across Europe and the USA.
